FACULTY ACHIEVEMENTS

• Prof. Sachin Paul received Indo-German collaborative research scholarship at ITA RWTH, University of Aachen, Germany.
  
• A training programme was organised by the department for the Quality wing of PWD Kottayam based on the lab tests and field issue. Keynote speakers were Prof. Bypin Paul and Dr. Elson John MACE Kothamangalam.
  
• A one-day colloquium on Concrete constructions for coastal conditions and its 7-Cs was conducted at The Gateway Hotel, Kochi on 17th December, 2021. The program was organized by ICI in association with IIT Madras and IIT Palakkad. MACE was in association with ICI for the coordination and logistics. The 7-Cs focused on bridging the gap, by providing insights on various performance specifications and advanced field practices for durable concrete constructions in coastal and tropical regions. The 7-Cs gave insights on various repair and restoration techniques for extending the service life of the existing structures. Keynote speakers: Dr. Manu Santhanam, Prof. IIT Madras, Er. P.G. Venkatram. CTO, L&T Infrastructure, Dr. Elson John Professor MACE Kothamangalam.

• Gishnu S (2021 pass out - B batch) has secured AIR 84 in the GATE entrance exam.
